Web Application Production Service Policies

Scope of Work

Every project begins with an agreed specification describing the features, deliverables, schedule, and price.

Work outside the agreed scope is treated as additional work and quoted separately.

Base Price

The published Base Price is the minimum fee for a new project.

Projects requiring additional functionality, integrations, design work, multilingual content, or ongoing services are quoted separately.

Schedule

Estimated delivery times assume that all required materials and client feedback are provided without unnecessary delay.

Project schedules may be adjusted if the project scope changes during development.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing:

• project requirements
• logos and branding materials
• text and images
• legal rights to supplied content
• timely review and approval

Revisions

Minor revisions requested during development are included.

Requests that introduce new features or significantly change existing functionality may require a revised quotation.

Testing

Applications are tested before delivery.

Clients are encouraged to perform acceptance testing before the project is considered complete.

Browser and Device Support

Applications are developed for current versions of major web browsers.

Support for older browsers or specialized environments should be agreed before development begins.

Hosting

Unless otherwise specified, hosting, domain registration, email services, and cloud infrastructure are not included in the project price.

PIG can assist with deployment and hosting when requested.

Third-Party Services

Projects may integrate third-party services such as maps, payment gateways, authentication providers, analytics, or APIs.

Any licensing fees, subscription costs, or usage charges imposed by those services are the client's responsibility.

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the client receives ownership of the completed project unless otherwise agreed.

PIG retains ownership of its general development tools, reusable libraries, frameworks, and technical know-how.

Open Source Software

Projects may incorporate open-source software where appropriate.

Open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses.

Maintenance

After delivery, maintenance, updates, security improvements, and feature enhancements are available under a separate agreement.

Warranty

PIG will correct defects that are demonstrably caused by the delivered software for a reasonable period after delivery.

The warranty does not cover changes requested after acceptance, third-party service failures, server administration by others, or software modified by third parties.

Payment

Invoices are issued according to the agreed payment schedule.

Typical projects are divided into milestone payments.

Work may be suspended if scheduled payments become overdue.

Cancellation

If a project is cancelled after work has begun, completed work and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date remain payable.

Confidentiality

Project information and client data are treated as confidential unless disclosure is required by law or agreed by both parties.

Changes to These Policies

These policies may be updated periodically and apply to future projects unless otherwise agreed in writing.
